EP Release Show 1/24 at Brooklyn’s Knitting Factory
Brooklyn punk band QWAM releases its new EP, Feed Me, today. A collection of five fast-paced, angst-fueled tracks, it’s available to stream & purchase on Bandcamp.
Written during 3am subway rides and perfected in sweaty Brooklyn basements, Feed Me is full of clever lyrics and anthemic choruses, with lead singer Felicia Lobo’s snarling vocals backed by driving guitars and frenetic drums. Singles include “Doggie Door” — which Consequence of Sound called “a jerky, classic party thrasher” — and the undeniably catchy “Dirty Feet.”
QWAM will celebrate their new release with a show at Brooklyn’s Knitting Factory next Tuesday, January 24th with local bands Dead Stars and Jigsaw Youth — more info here.

Praise for Feed Me:
“A jerky, classic party thrasher, the song pummels hard on taut drums from Rachel Zisette and Matt Keim’s charging guitars.” — Consequence of Sound
“Buzzsaw guitars and breakneck rhythms carry the raucous track as visions of sweaty bodies clanging together and cheap beers spilled in the air are culled by the QWAM storm.” — Impose Magazine
“Vocalist Felicia Lobo take a little from Penelope Houston here and some Courtney Love there, and then coos and snarls in equal turns.” — PunkNews
“QWAM mixes sweet vocal harmonies and fast punk riffs for face-melting tunes.” — BTR
