Rancid Announce Headlining Tour Dates in United Kingdom and Ireland in November and December 2012

Band Celebrates 20th Anniversary in 2012

 

Rancid have announced a headlining tour of United Kingdom and Ireland. The tour will be kicking off on November 28th in Belfast (Ireland) and conclude with two co-headline shows in London (UK) with Cock Sparrer on Friday, December 14th and Saturday December 15th  The full list of dates is below. Tickets will go on sale on Friday, June 29th at 9.00am.

December 2nd – Glasgow – Barrowlands

December 3rd – Liverpool – O2 Academy

December 4th – Newcastle – O2 Academy

December 7th – Manchester – Academy 

December 8th – Birmingham – Rebellion X-Mas Show 

December 10th – Norwich – UEA

December 11th – Bournemouth – O2 Academy

December 12th – Bristol – O2 Academy

December 14th – London – HMV Forum – co headline with Cock Sparrer

December 15th – London – HMV Forum – Co headline with Cock Sparrer

 

Before the November/December tour, Rancid will be doing an exclusive, one-off appearance at UK’s Rebellion Punk Music Festival in Blackpool. For more information, please click HERE.

The influential punk rock band, consisting of Tim Armstrong (vocals, guitar), Matt Freeman (bass, vocals), Lars Frederiksen (vocals, guitar) and Branden Steineckert (drums) are celebrating their twenty – year anniversary this year.  As one way of marking this memorable occasion, the band have put together a career spanning video montage, consisting of video clips from throughout their career, accompanied by song"Out Of Control" from 2003 release Indestructible. Rancid are planning to enter the studio in early November 2012 to begin recording their 8th full-length album and a follow up to  ‘Let The Dominos Fall.’
