Join us for this special Rebellion Warm Up before hitting the road to Blackpool.
We are proud to announce Choking Susan from Detroit USA will be joining us at The Unicorn plus support from Healthy Junkies, The Black Bullets, Weekend Recovery and Pistolheads + DJ RAMONE.

More details about the bands

Choking Susan – Hailing from the stench filled slums of Detroits motor city in 1999, female fronted punk band Choking Susan has lots to complain about ..just like a 60 year old hooker, choking susan has had plenty of members in and out! we’ve kept ourselves raw and willing and have toured from coast to coast all over the USA, Canada,Spain,England,Scotland ,Ireland ,Germany,Czech Re…public and France!!
If you dig punk in any definition ,see us live!buy us a drink! give us a kiss!check us out !

Healthy Junkies – With inspiration drawn from some of the most iconic bands of the last century, their multi-faceted breed of punk rock has the distinct shimmer of glam but with a dash of dirty grunge thrown in for good measure and while such a potent concoction could seem to busy or jumbled in less capable hands, these guys know exactly what it is they’re doing.

The Black Bullets – Devil’s children are hard to find. Music walks amongst the mist, hearing the damned and demonic, where only the living fall.
In the night walk the Strangers, an admission of nocturnal salvation. The Black Bullets are five bastard children from hell, locked together to produce the most filthy Rock n Roll to penetrate human ears.
“They drink, live, eat, throw up, sleep, breathe and drink Rock n Roll” – Sleaze Roxx

Weekend Recovery – Weekend Recovery are a female fronted 5-piece rock band hailing from Maidstone, Kent. Formed less than 12 months ago Weekend Recovery are proud to be part of the growing Kent rock scene with bands like Slaves, Moose Blood and Broken Hands. They’ve already gained the support of BBC Introducing and NME Presents and have headline sets at London’s famous Alley Cat bar on Denmark Street and the Islington O2 Academy under their belts.
The band have recently released their new EP ‘Rumours’ which was recorded and produced by Dan Lucas in deepest darkest Kent. Rumours draws influences from bands such as The Hives, Paramore and Green Day prompting the NME’s Mark Beaumont to described Weekend Recovery as ‘a unique voice in modern rock’.

Pistolheads – Pistolhead were formed in late 2015 and influenced by the late 70s punk revolution with a nod towards post-punk bands like Half Man Half Biscuit and The Fall. Like The Clash without the talent and the Sex Pistols without the charisma, listening to Pistolhead will make you want to bash your head against the wall just that one more time and then go for that cup of tea you boiled the kettle for about an hour ago.
Future plans include: not having our music played on radio 1 and getting a bad review from NME.
