Release Round-Up 🎧
Our 2025 release schedule finally begins to wind down after our busiest year yet. While we use the remainder of 2025 to prepare for all the excitement of 2026 and our upcoming 10th birthday, here is a quick reminder of some of our most recent tracks you may have missed. All artists below have exciting upcoming projects – have a listen!

wojtek the bear – kylie’s put a curse on us
New single from Glasgow indie-pop group, taken from their forthcoming 2026 album i don’t think you want to hear this recorded with Bill Ryder-Jones. The track is a fictional tale about an over-zealous Kylie fan, a nod to Gerry Love’s ‘Kylie’s Got a Crush on Us’.Album released 22 May 2026, launch gig just announced for Cottiers in Glasgow on 21 May.
Amy Duncan – Phantasmagoria
Gorgeous, striking vocals from multi-instrumentalist. First single from upcoming collaborative album Greetings From Gartnavel. The album lyrics were penned by David Paton giving remarkable insight into his experiences with schizophrenia. The instrumentation reflects the light and dark of David’s stories through the use of sparse arrangements and off kilter sounds. New album released 23 January 2026.

Mackenzies – Blow by Blow
80s avant-funk/punk band gear up to finally release their debut album. The band reunited and rediscovered a recording of Blow by Blow on a cassette from 1988. Despite only releasing a handful of singles originally, Mackenzies were a favourite of John Peel and recorded two Peel Sessions and appeared on NME’s C86 mixtape. Upcoming album TBA.

Elgin & the Marbles – The Treasury’s In Love
New single released in time for the autumn budget, it’s a Johnny Cash-style driving country ballad about austerity. Upcoming debut semi-concept album The Sun Never Sets is biting, satirical, funny and tender. The LP captures a country lurching from nostalgia to chaos, austerity to arrogance told mostly through the voices of the villains. Released March 2026.

Brontës – San Francisco
Heart-wrenching new track from Brontës highly-anticipated debut album. Full to the brim of indie-pop yearning the track tells a story of young love lost, fractured nostalgia and longing for a future where maybe paths will cross again. Both melancholic and hopeful in tone, Eva’s vocals shine amongst layers of twinkly guitar. Debut LP released 21 April 2026.

F.O. Machete – I’m Fine, Are You?
After a streak of cult acclaim following breakout album Mother of a Thousand F.O. Machete return with a brand new single. A shimmering, radio-friendly mix of poppy Yo La Tengo charm and My Bloody Valentine textures with hooks sharp enough to cut through the early winter gloom. F.O. Machete are currently working on a new album.
