Remembering Bennett and RSD26

Bennett – Oct 2015 – April 2026

We had planned to spend the weekend selling records, listening to music and enjoying a few beers with customers, members and artists. As it was our beloved boy left us at 9.00am on Record Store Day. You may remember us writing about his miracle escape from a 3kg tumour in December, well he wasn’t able to pull off the same miracle a second time. This time a ruptured tumour on his liver ended his beautiful life.

Everyone at LNFG is heartbroken to lose the him. The shop and office will be very empty without him.

In other news, that is more relevant to the majority of you, the remainder of RSD was a huge success, thanks so much to the hundreds of you who chose to spend your time with us. Massive thanks to Xan, Dusty, Callum and Vickie for 3 sensational sets.

The remaining RSD26 stock is avialable to buy now, in most cases we are down to final copies. I say now but it might end up being slightly dynamic, last I looked we had a manged to get A-D and R-Z up, hopefully we have finalised E – R 🙂 Time will indeed tell.

For every three items you buy we will gift you an LNFG release which compliments your choices 🙂

Thank you to all the members, customers and friends who have left words of comfort on my facebook page, it has been really lovely and very hard to hear so many kind words about b-balls. Miriam (Midge) has a huge job on her paws but we are sure she is up for it 🙂
