Aesop Rock introduces new album ‘Integrated Tech Solutions’ in a state of ‘Mindful Solutionism’: motto – “you can fix anything with a lazer”. Self-produced in typically wired, block-rocking style, welding booming drum machines to raw 8-bit mechanisms and b-boy scratches from Forest Pond, the Rhymesayers veteran and New York underground trailblazer welcomes you to his TED Talk.

Like a futuristic salesman/historian examining the reality available at your fingertips, and assisted by the above video promoting sensory overload overseen by Justin ‘Coro’ Kaufman, ‘Mindful Solutionism’ is truly a “feat of engineering, a system made efficient” where “everyday is tomorrow”.

Famed for his expansive vocabulary and prolific abstractions, Aesop Rock embarks on his ninth solo LP with the sort of dictionary-squeezing guile that has made him a one-of-a-kind case study and literary reference point. Responsible for underground/alt-rap classics ‘Labor Days’, ‘Bazooka Tooth’, ‘None Shall Pass’ and ‘Skelethon’, he has worked with Homeboy Sandman, Blockhead and Tobacco on splinter projects, scored short films and a Nike/iPod collaboration, and also appeared alongside DOOM, Lupe Fiasco, Your Old Droog, RJD2 and Atmosphere.
