Reputante share their new music video for “Lock Me Up”, directed by Dima Dubson who also made the Adam Green documentary “How to Act Bad”. Dima snuck on stage without the band knowing their performance was being filmed.
“It’s a voyeuristic video,” director Dubson said of clandestine footage. “We’re watching James sing this heartbreak of a song locked up in a tight cell of a frame. He manages to escape at one point, but not for long.”
Reputante is a new band from New York. They are currently on their first American tour with Mercury Prize nominees, The Maccabees.
