Following on from their 2015 acclaimed album ‘Mirrors’, English rock quintet Reverend and The Makers have announced that they will release their brand new album ‘The Death Of A King’ in Autumn this year, alongside a UK tour which includes a performance at Manchester Academy in November.
The Sheffield group, fronted by Jon McClure, started with their debut album ‘The State of Things’ in 2007 which helped them gain success in Britain, as well as spawning UK Top 10 single ‘Heavyweight Champion of the World’. The band then went onto release their second album, ‘A French Kiss in the Chaos’, which led to an invite to support Oasis on their final tour, playing venues such as Wembley Stadium.
Their third studio album ‘@Reverend Makers’ (named after their twitter handle), was released in 2012 and then in 2014 and ’15, their fourth and fifth studio albums, ‘Thirty Two’ and ‘Mirrors’ respectively, with ‘Thirty Two’ supported by a UK tour.
