Following two straight A-list additions at Radio 2 plus playlists at Radio X, Absolute & Virgin Radio, Richard Ashcroft unveils the video for his current single ‘They Don’t Own Me’ which he directed himself.

Currently playing at a number of European Festivals, Richard returns for a handful of UK shows and Festivals in August before embarking on shows in Japan and South America.
The Brit and Ivor Novello award winning and Grammy nominated artist recorded ‘These People’ in London and it was produced by Richard and longtime collaborator Chris Potter, as well as marking a reunion with Wil Malone, who worked with Richard on the string arrangements on the seminal albums by The Verve A Northern Soul (1995),Urban Hymns (1997), and his platinum-selling and critically acclaimed debut solo album Alone with Everybody (2000).
Richard will be working with Wil Malone again for two very special live shows this December (Liverpool Arena on December the 7th and the London 02 Arena on December the 9th) when he will be performing with an orchestra performing songs from ‘These People’ alongside his legendary back catalogue of both solo work and that with The Verve.
Equally channelling his classic output and exploring adventurous new sounds, textures and themes, and graced by one of the most singular and unforgettable voices in British music, These People reaffirms him as one of the most defining and prodigious songwriters of his generation.
