Ride premiere video for Repetition, UK in-stores announced
Ride have shared a new video for ‘Repetition’, the second single from their upcoming album, This Is Not A Safe Place. Directed by Luke Logan, the video chronicles a washing machine as it slowly combusts. A visual metaphor commenting on routine through kaleidoscopic colors and saturated montage. The video is the second from their upcoming album, following the Jacob Hopewell-directed video for ‘Future Love’.

“Directing for the Ride guys has been absolutely awesome, the track has this mechanical, entropic feel, almost like it’s spiraling out of control and I wanted to match that with the video. Despite having to destroy several washing machines in the process, I think we managed to capture the feeling of the track really well,” Luke explains.
The band has also announced a run of largely acoustic in-store UK performances during the album’s release week.
