By The Rivers are proud to announce the official Homecoming Show for their Official UK and Netherlands Tour! The Leicester O2 Academy will host the must-see show of the year on 23rd November 2013. With support coming from Will and The People and Mysterians, it’s set to be a hometown show that¹s bigger and better than ever before.
After a summer that has seen the band play 30+ festivals across Europe, get handpicked as one of ‘5 Future Pyramid Stars’ for Glastonbury Festival¹s prestigious Pyramid Stage by BBC @ Glastonbury alongside Foals, Jessie Ware, The Strypes and Bastille, and tour over three months in the UK and the Netherlands, By The Rivers have demonstrated just how amazing their live shows are.
The list of amazing festival stages they¹ve rocked includes Glastonbury, Bestival, Green Man, Larmer Tree, Les Nuites Secretes and Boomtown Fair, and the Official UK Tour has seen scores of new fans across the country watch them headline some amazing venues.
The By The Rivers Homecoming show is set to celebrate an amazing summer, and the band want Leicester out in force to join in with the fun and excitement. The fresh reggae-influenced pop tones of By The Rivers, combined with the fun, honest and catchy songs of Will and the People and Mysterians will give the O2 an ecstatic atmosphere that will turn this chilly November night into a warm Summer evening one more time.
