ROADKILL #16

Friday 6th March

Aces and Eights Saloon Bar, Tufnell Park

Facebook Event page

With headliners The Sly Persuaders

Garage-noise-wranglers and Heavy Leather veterans, The Sly Persuaders, merge surfed-up swagger with industrial-strength fuzz. Their powerhouse mix of reverb-laden riffs and crooning, vintage pop has never disappointed us before, and now they’re back to show us how it’s done.
With special guests The Carnations
These garage-psych upstarts are riding high after the release of their first single ‘Way Out On My Own’. 60’s style rock n’ roll in the vein of The Sonics with classic harmonies and anthemic, sing-a-long choruses.
And Muertos
These guys blew us away last year with their dark, psychedelic garage rock, now they’re back to kick-start our surf-centric line-up with their haunting harmonies, acid drones and swooning rock riffs.
With very special guest DJ sets from London based tastemakers RAW MEAT.

Roadkill is one of London’s leading garage nights showcasing the best in 60s revival, psych, surf, punk and dirty rock n’ roll. The monthly night hosts three bands and guest DJs spinning vinyl classics ‘till late.

Heavy Leather Promotions has been running live music and club nights in and around North London for the last 3 years to an ever growing fan base, and more recently at the beautiful basement venue of Aces & Eights Saloon Bar, Tufnell Park. We’ve already featured the likes of Loom, Love Buzzard, James Brute, The Cracked Belles, Dedwardians, Dirty White Fever and Voodoo Binmen to name but a few.

See you at the bar.
