A rock n roll roadshow for 2014.
Music fans are invited to alternative, punky, arty, poetic, events with a touch of situationism in 2014. Bills of audience-chosen artists are curated by multi talented Bright Young Things. They begin with surreal existentialist rock n rollers, Fur Cough, headline the launch at The Alleycat in Central London on 23rd January.
These events are affordable, socially inclusive gatherings in small venues with a crowd high in fellow musicians, visual artists, writers, photographers – and adrenaline.

Space punks CuT and garage rockers, Mourning Birds, are putting guitars back on the radar of new music. Both bands are getting Radio 1 play and attention in sussed quarters, already.

Mixing poetry from one of the underground’s favourite wordsmiths, The Freewheelin’ Troubadour, with projections and creativity, its a travelling circus that will develop as it goes along. Promoters, Rocklands, are already talking to venues and events, on the ArtBeat wavelength, around the country.

Having already won fans and friends with their music, there is also early interest in the line up which includes under radar buzzes like Rhiannon The Nightmare, 16 Hole Boots, Jean Genie’s Massive Hugs, Stella+, Hall Of Strangers, Aeromancy and Dizzy Spell who not only curated the bills but also comperes at the first one and sings live at the second (and expect to see various audience members on stages in the future as the the story unfolds).
Rocklands has previously invited music fans to catch early events and co promotions by the likes of Bleech, Factory Floor, Bloc Party, Kate Tempest, Hatcham Social, Breton, Tinie Tempah, Art Brut, Too Many Ts, Cave Painting, My Passion and many more now on bigger stages.
