Röyksopp recruit Berlin based duo Mind Against to bring their distinctive IDM-flavoured, melodic techno flair to ‘The Next Day’, featuring Jamie Irrepressible on vocals, on a newly-released remix accompanied by a fresh animated video created by the duo’s key Profound Mysteries visual collaborator Jonathan Zawada. Mind Against’s remix of ‘The Next Day’ introduces the next phase of remixes from the Profound Mysteries project. The coming months will include a Mees Salomé remix of ‘Me&Youphoria’, Enrico Sangiuliano’s ‘Like An Old Dog’ remix, as well as a ‘Control’ remix by Massano.

Röyskopp are amassing an acclaimed and eclectic body of remixes for their Profound Mysteries project including US club producer Baauer’s remix of “Unity” featuring Karen Harding, “Oh, Lover” remixed by French melodic techno producer NTO (AllPoints) featuring Susanne-Sundfør,  Ninja Tune signee Salute’s own spin on “Unity.” and Munich-based producer Innellea’s rework of the Astrid S collaboration “Let’s Get It Right.”

Röyksopp’s Profound Mysteries I remixes also included entries from Henry Saiz, Rodriguez Jr, Township Rebellion, Qrion, and &ME, whose remix of “Impossible” was chosen as Pete Tong’s Essential New Tune of 2022 and was streamed over 4m times.

Röyksopp released their critically acclaimed epic Profound Mysteries series throughout 2022, garnering 80m streams to date. The three part series, encompassing a huge output of music, art, and short films, was a unique undertaking and the band’s most ambitious project to date.
