RUDIMENTAL’S NEW ALBUM ‘TOAST TO OUR DIFFERENCES’

RELEASES 25TH JANUARY 2019 ON

Rudimental have shared special new MK remixes of latest single, ‘Walk Alone’, featuring Tom Walker – the fourth to be taken from their hugely anticipated new studio album, ‘Toast To Our Differences’.

Having already debuted two huge singles from the new album so far this year – the smash hit UK #1 ‘These Days’ ft. Jess Glyne, Macklemore & Dan Caplen, currently the biggest-selling record of 2018 in the UK, and ‘Let Me Live’ (prod. with Major Lazer) ft. Anne Marie and Mr. Eazi – ‘Walk Alone’ delivers as a powerful, heartfelt ballad, showcasing the breadth and depth of Rudimental’s extraordinary, multi-faceted sound.

Iconic US dance DJ/producer MK – an artist with numerous chart hits to his name, including his 2013 UK #1 remix of Storm Queen’s ‘Look Right Through’ – is the first to turn his hand to the track, turning in two peak-time club remixes that transform the energy of Rudimental’s original version.

Taken from their forthcoming new album, ‘Toast To Our Differences’, which features a stellar, wide-ranging cast of guest vocalists from all over the world, ‘Walk Alone’ also marks Rudimental’s first collaboration with acclaimed singer-songwriter Tom Walker, who has recently returned from his own UK headline tour. Walker first made waves with the unparalleled success of his Platinum-selling breakthrough single, ‘Leave A Light On’, which peaked at #7 on the UK Singles Chart earlier this year, laying the foundations for the release of his debut album, ‘What A Time To Be Alive’, in 2019.

In addition to the release of the MK Remixes, Rudimental have also shared a special acoustic performance video of ‘Walk Alone’. Shot by Dan Massie at Electronic Light Studios, it strips the track right back and sees Tom Walker lay down a stirring and powerful vocal performance – watch it here.

About ‘Toast To Our Differences’

Written as an emphatic celebration of difference and a coming together of cultures, styles and sounds, ‘Toast To Our Differences’ is the product of the band’s past three years of work and boasts an extraordinary list of collaborators.

Tom Walker turns in a stunning vocal on catchy, wholesome ballad, ‘Walk Alone’, emerging vocalists like Maleek Berry and RAYE come together on the sparkling ‘1×1’ and rising singer-songwriter Dan Caplen shines on #1 smash, ‘These Days’, alongside Jess Glynne and Macklemore. Latest album single ‘Let Me Live’ also features vocals from Ladysmith Black Mambazo, an incomparable x5 time Grammy-winning South African male choral group, and hotly-tipped soul singer, Yebba, who has been heavily co-signed by global stars like Ed Sheeran and Sam Smith.

Tour de force rapper Stefflon Don makes waves on the powerful ‘Scared Of Love’, Rita Ora excels on the sleek, shimmering ‘Summer Love’ and enigmatic rapper Kojey Radical and Kabaka Pyramid spar on ‘No Pain’, further showcasing the breadth and diversity of talent Rudimental showcase right across ‘Toast To Our Differences’.
