We first discovered angelic milk on Bandcamp over a year ago and was blown away by the music, even more so when we realised it was the project of a then-sixteen-year-old girl (Sarah Persephona) who was recording it all in her bedroom in St. Petersburg, Russia. Grunge-y pop tracks, teenage angst, insanely catchy melodies and lyrics, an incredible voice and song titles like “I’m So Happy (I Wanna Die)” – we were instantly sold.
Her debut single “IDK How” is due on May 22 via PNKSLM Recordings digitally and on super-limited edition hand-made vinyl (only 30 copies being made – instantly sold out) and it’s been getting a great response so far. Now we’ve unveiled the brilliantly unique video for “IDK How”, as premiered on BrooklynVegan, as well – with her debut live dates to be announced soon.
