Sainté has dropped brand new track ‘Sade’. Further teasing a brand new project from Sainté to follow later this year, this follows recent single ‘Arrogant’ and a period for the Leicester rapper which has also seen him tour with the likes of Denzel Curry, join Kenny Beats on stage at his summer London show, and sell out his own run of UK headline dates including Hoxton Hall.
Candid, introspective and impactful, Sainté pays tribute to his long-time hero on his newest work, which arrives alongside a fly-on-the-wall video picking up from recent single ‘East’ (capturing in part his move to London) and the vacation-themed ‘Arrogant’ (which was stunningly shot in Lake Como). The track itself emerged spontaneously, says Sainté: ‘Sade was just an interlude which we made in like 25 mins just freestyling, but we ended up liking the track to the point we added a second verse. I was going through my usual Sade phase and I had the name stuck in my head…so I told bb, let’s make something but with no explanations, but came out with a record you can just get crazy to!”

With songs that are hazy but luxurious, Sainté is already proving himself to be a multi-faceted artist. The former semi-pro basketball player has also appeared in campaigns for the likes of Louis Vuitton, Billionaire Boys Club, Flannels, Gauchoworld and is passionate about putting his beloved Leicester back on the cultural map. As seen in his own typically-modest style on recent single ‘Arrogant’, it’s that confidence to try and be the best – and moreover, the best version of yourself – that Saintè wants to inject into UK rap today.
2022 has already seen Sainté exploring new neighbourhoods and new sounds whilst looking back to the heroes like Sade who got you where you are today. Watch out for more from Sainté coming soon.
