SAN CISCO – ‘Fred Astaire’ Single out May 6, 2013
Band announced as main support on the forthcoming Darwin Deez UK Tour
Indie-Pop 4 piece San Cisco are set to release the single Fred Astaire through Columbia Records on May 6th. The song is taken from their forthcoming self-titled debut album, which is set for release on July 29th.
Jordi: “I wrote the words out in the outback, where I was mustering, and it was a three-hour drive back to the homestead and I started singing it to myself. I wrote it about not being good enough for your girlfriend, and her being able to have someone who can give her everything, and you not being that person. It’s Fred Astaire because he’s an affluent man who can do that. And he’s a good dancer.”

Fresh off San Cisco’s headline tour of the UK in March, the band can now announce they will be back in the UK to support Darwin Deez on his UK tour from April 26th.
San Cisco spent the first two months of the year supporting the Vaccines on tour in the US and also made their SXSW debut in Austin, TX earlier this month.
