Sash – ‘I Don’t Want Something’ Single

“I Don’t Want Something” by SASH will be released 31st of March 2017.
22-year-old country NSW raised singer-songwriter Sash found her passion for music at the age of four, teaching herself piano by ear and later guitar and singing. Her multi- layered ethereal vocals and quick ear for dreamy melodies and powerful chord structures meant Sash found her footing in the indie pop rock world quite nicely.
Sash’s debut single “Night Light”, released in October 2016, gained great recognition being added to Triple J Unearthed digital radio days after it was released.
To follow the success, “I Don’t Want Something” Sash’s second single from the EP produced by Thomas Keating hits hard with cheeky guitar riffs, quirky drumbeats and a little bit of a cowbell in between.
“The song tells a story of a young girl manipulated in the music industry and how she fights back. This song means a lot to me, it’s about standing up for yourself, staying true to who you want to be and not letting anyone change that,” says Sash.
“I Don’t Want Something” is a strong and girly Indie-Pop track that punches you in the guts.
If you like Ali Barter or Alex Lahey, Sash’s new single will surely draw you in and convince you to start a new girl band.
“I Don’t Want Something” by SASH will be released 31st of March 2017.
