Today, Savannah Stopover Music Festival has evolved into one of the most significant emerging music festivals in the United States.

In addition to over 80 national touring artists, Savannah Stopover will also host three showcases from Savannah-based labels; Retro Futurist (the new label started by Savannah’s Kylesa), Furious Hooves Records and Soft Science Records. From founder Kayne Lanahan, “We’re thrilled to launch our fourth year of Savannah Stopover with such an exciting lineup. Our focus continues to be on maintaining an affordable music festival experience for the region, showcasing outstanding emerging National talent, and luring newcomers to one of the most beautiful historic districts in the world! With the enormity of major music festivals, comes the exorbitant prices, and we’ve continued to see the joy of discovery missing. At Stopover, you might find your next favorite band in a small dive bar, the ballroom of a 19th century mansion, an outdoor beer garden, or a haunted cemetery. It’s like no place else on earth.”
