Schmieds Puls single/video, new album soon!
Seayou Records signs Schmieds Puls / album in autumn / single and video now!
We’re happy to release Schmieds Puls‘ new album I care a little less about everything now. As a teaser we like to present to you You can go now, an ode to farewell and its ambivalence: melancholy, grief, an ending, but also a new beginning and the courage to let go. The video was shot, fittingly, in a flat that’s being moved out of. The video is minimalistic like the song itself, no effects, no bells and whistles. The flat is empty, short of a few remains of a leaving existence.
Schmieds Puls is Mira Lu Kovacs (guitar, vocals), Christain Grobauer (drums), and Walter Singer (contrabass). When Mira Lu Kovacs began writing songs on a trip from the American east- to west coast in 2011, she started out as a solo act. In 2012, she met Christian and Walter and invited them to play with her at a festival show. That turned out so well (“it was love!”) that Schmieds Puls transformed into a band. The debut album Play Deadwas released in autumn 2013 on Jazzwerskatt Records. The second
album I care a little less about everything now will be out October 16th on Seayou Records.
