Seán McGowan Main support to Billy Bragg at The Great Escape 2013
Hampshire based singer-songwriter, Seán McGowan, is set to play his biggest show to date when he supports Billy Bragg at The Great Escape Festival in Brighton this Friday, 17th May, The gig came after Bragg, who tipped Seán as one to watch for 2013 in the BBC Radio 6 John Peel lecture, personally invited him along to support.
A Strummerville favourite, 20 year old Seán, who is a life-long fan of Bragg said; “I’m absolutely buzzing to be finally supporting Billy. It’s been a lifetime ambition of mine and it’s definitely going to be the highlight of my career so far”.
Seán will take to the stage at The Dome in Brighton, at 8.30. If you’re at The Great Escape this coming weekend, please try and come along.
