New Zealand’s reigning queen of gothpop, So Below, has put her own unique spin on Now, Now‘s latest single ‘SGL‘. Produced by Aaron Short (The Naked and Famous, Space Above), the cover replaces the original’s driving guitars with a downtempo tapestry of echoey vocals and warm synths.

The cover succeeds North’s latest single ‘Ruin’ which was co-written with SOMBEAR of Now, Now and Chelsea Jade – with additional production from The Naked and FamousAaron Short – the track takes cues from the darker reaches of electronica while readapting the modern dance format for a midnight-hued take on pop music.

Listen to ‘SGL’ above or via the premiere on Atwood Magazine and stay tuned for more from So Below very soon.
