Following a huge run of success that has seen them secure two UK Number 1 albums in 2024 with A Matter Of Time and Liquid Gold, and as they celebrate 30 years of A Maximum High and their defining anthem ‘Chasing Rainbows’, Shed Seven are thrilled to announce the return of their iconic winter tour, Shedcember X, spanning multiple dates across the UK this November and December.

Tickets go on sale at 10am on Friday 24th April, available here. Fans can access pre-sale tickets from Wednesday 22nd April at 10am by signing up to the band’s mailing list here.

Marking this much-loved festive run, the band have unveiled a heartfelt fan-focused film celebrating the 10th Shedcember, written and directed by guitarist Paul Banks, capturing the essence of Shed Seven’s shows and the appreciation they have for their dedicated fanbase.

Shedcember X promises to be their biggest and most celebratory yet. Since its inception in 2007, Shedcember has grown into a cult institution for fans, becoming the definitive start to the festive season.
On the announcement, lead singer Rick Witter says: “We can’t wait to get out there up and down the UK and soak up what is a unique atmosphere at a Shed Seven gig. Expect the big hits along with a few surprises and the thrill of us all singing our hearts out together for a couple of hours. See you down the front.”

Each night will see the band deliver acareer-spanning set packed with anthems including ‘Going For Gold’, ‘Chasing Rainbows’, ‘Disco Down’, ‘On Standby’ and ‘Talk Of The Town’. Special guests The Academic, the Irish indie band with multiple Number 1 albums in their home country, will join across all dates.

Expect huge atmospheres, special moments and a tour that celebrates everything Shed Seven have built over the last three decades.

For those who’ve been there before, Shedcember needs no introduction. It’s warm beer, bright lights, and songs that never left you. Familiar faces in the crowd, and new ones found somewhere between the first song and the last. Arms around shoulders. Voices filling every corner of the room.

For everyone else, Shedcember X is the perfect place to start.

Don’t miss out on what promises to be the biggest and best Shedcember yet.

Because every couple of years… this is where we meet again.

About Shed Seven:
Shed Seven have enjoyed a remarkable resurgence in recent years. In 2024, they made chart history by achieving their first ever Number 1 album with A Matter Of Time, followed just ten months later by a second Number 1 with Liquid Gold, placing them alongside artists such as The Beatles, Elton John and David Bowie in achieving two UK Number 1 albums within a single calendar year. The same year also saw the band deliver a standout performance at the iconic Radio 2 Piano Room, backed by the BBC Concert Orchestra, marking another major milestone in their career.

In 2025, the band delivered a critically acclaimed set at Glastonbury, described by MOJO as a “triumphant return”, and trended at Number 1 on Twitter for several hours following their performance on BBC iPlayer. They were also awarded Best Live Act at the Independent Music Awards, voted for by fans, before going on to play a series of major outdoor shows that rank among the biggest of their 30-year career.
With fans and critics alike praising their live shows as some of the best they’ve ever delivered, Shed Seven head into Shedcember X at the very peak of their powers.

Shed Seven emerged as one of the defining bands of the Britpop era, their catalogue of classic singles leading to seven Top 20 hits and six Top 10 albums, alongside a reputation as one of the UK’s most powerful live acts.
