Simply Red celebrate 40 years with ‘Recollections’ out November 21st

Our producer Andy Wright set about capturing the atmosphere and sonics of the original recordings, and has done a magnificent job. ‘Recollections’ is out November 21st. on the band’s own label imprint Simplyred.com which launched in 2003 for the release of ‘Home’ which to this day remains one of the most successful independent releases of all time. Now after 15 years it’s being rebooted for the release of ‘Recollections’.

Simply Red kicked off their 40th celebrations earlier this year, when Mick Hucknall made a long-awaited guest appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, performing classic track ‘If You Don’t Know Me By Now’ with acclaimed house band The Roots.
