Sleeptalk Stream Sophomore EP Early
(December 03, 2015 – Los Angeles, CA) – Space rock quintet Sleeptalk will be releasing their sophomore EP Young on 12/04, but the group is streaming it early via Idobi Radio. The EP is a follow-up to their debut Pure and is the second installment of a planned trilogy.
When asked about the meaning behind the new release, vocalist Anthony Fitzpatrick said “‘Young’ is about being young, reckless, and living in the moment. Its about those exhilarating times you have with those people that you just want to relive and relive.”
Sleeptalk, who formed from the ashes of the pop-punk band Like Giants, recently signed a management deal with The Artery Foundation and are currently working on the final piece of their trilogy. Pre-order Young via iTunes.

Hailing from Southern California, Sleeptalk formed from the ashes of the now defunct pop-punk band Like Giants. After the disbandment in 2013, vocalist Anthony Patrick and bassist Paul McGill found themselves pining for a new sound that stretched beyond the confines of their previous group. Joined by Jason Fitzpatrick (guitar), Justin Melchor (guitar) and Jacques Harmandjian (drums), the quintet make use of strong, haunting hooks that weave into atmospheric melodies. The self-described “space rock” sound creates the framework for Fitzpatrick’s alluring lyrics of sex and youthful love which can be heard all throughout the debut EP Pure. The record is the first of a planned trilogy with the second installment Young, due on December 4th.
