Sleigh Bells – ‘Hyper Dark’

The anticipation for the return of Sleigh Bells is over and we can finally indulge ourselves in some good ol’ fashioned Sleigh Bells.

They come out with a hard-hitting track like ‘Hyper Dark’ really has their electric guitars ringing through your veins. Then they decide to change it with drums with a hip hop feel that has us confused but intrigued. Pair that with some amazing soft vocals  to sing some very intense lyrics and bass. I really see this track the perfect fitting for a return for Sleigh Bells because their fans will get a real treat to see Sleigh Bells stick to what made them loved, but also see them take new risks with their amazing talent and creativity.

All in all, ‘Hyper Dark’ is a great track that Sleigh Bells can hang their hat on for a successful comeback. 7.8/10
