Slowthai, the UK’s most electrifying new voice, has announced a brand new ‘Brexit Bandit’ tour for the UK and Europe in March and April 2019. The news follows his recently SOLD OUT UK and European tour in September.
The Brexit Bandit tour was formed on Theresa May’s Instagram feed over the weekend as slowthai put out the call for fans to comment on her posts with their city and the BrexitBandit hashtag. Over 3000 comments on Theresa May’s Instagram later and the slowthai Brexit Bandit European tour is born. The run of shows across Europe and the UK will see slowthai plays his biggest shows to date culminating in a London show at the iconic York Hall. See full dates below.
News of the tour follows the release of brand-new single ‘Rainbow’ – a single that see’s slowthai tackle notions of race and stereotypes. Preceded by his widely acclaimed RUNT EP, ‘Rainbow’ has only gone to further consolidate slowthai as that rare and important voice for his generation. Effortlessly treading the line between grime, rap and garage and armed with a flow that is instantly recognisable and lyrics that unfailingly challenge his listeners, slowthai has become the artist to watch in 2018.
