Following his appearance on BROCKHAMPTON’s “HEAVEN BELONGS TO YOU” from their new album GINGER, slowthai is announcing he will be joining the boyband on their North American tour this winter. He will join the Heaven Belongs To You tour starting November 1st in Phoenix with stops in Austin, New York and Chicago before concluding the run December 13th in Los Angeles. Tickets go on-sale this Thursday at 10 AM local times with all tickets available on his website.
slowthai’s feature on GINGER follows his appearance on Tyler, The Creator’s critically-acclaimed album IGOR and the announce of rising LA rapper ICECOLDBISHOP supporting him on his headlining North American tour.
The Heaven Belongs To You tour announce also arrives in the midst of slowthai’s Something Great About Britain campaign. Beginning last week in London, the campaign is meant to highlight Nothing Great About Britain’s message of self-love. The campaign consists of mirrors placed around the city with the words “Something Great About Britain” printed across the top, a physical representation of the album’s celebration of what makes Britain great – its people. Nothing Great About Britain was released earlier this Spring by Method Records and has become one of the most celebrated debut British albums in the last decade.
Serving up a refreshingly candid and brutally honest snapshot of 2019 Britain, slowthai has become the voice of disenfranchised youth.
