Tuesday, March 6, 2018 – Today Smerz release their much-awaited EP ‘Have fun’ on XL Recordings. Having premiered four tracks with four videos over the past few months, Catharina and Henriette’s digital release of their ‘Have fun’ EP compiles the Norwegian duo’s recent output with some new unreleased music (track list below).

Launched with a video for the new track ‘Worth it’, the visual follows a similar narrative output that we’ve come to expect from Smerz. A dark, twisted version of our cosmopolitan reality, it’s a vision that echoes a similar tangent within their music. The duo’s music and videos seem to go much further than any interview ever has towards illustrating the world that Smerz inhabit.

The video for ‘Worth it’ was produced and directed by Smerz and as with all Smerz music, the track was produced, programmed and sung entirely by the Copenhagen-based duo.

Touring throughout the summer, Smerz will launch the EP with a party at Berghain’s new Säule venue, with Peder Mannerfelt, Sissel Wincent and Ida Engelhardt joining them on the line up.

The duo continue their monthly NTS Radio residency with another hour-long mix of cutting edge dance music span in their trademark DJing style. You can listen to it here.

“Worth it” LYRICS

I don’t know, it’s just harder yeah

I’ll be back real soon

My chin up, I don’t lose it

Someone’s looking for me? No

Someone’s waiting for me? uh

I’m not feeling like a teenager either

This is what I’ve got and it will take more for me to flip

I don’t know, it’s just harder yeah

I’ll be back real soon

Me, I don’t feel sorry yeah

I’ll be back real soon

This whole thing is too long yeah

I’ll be back real soon

I don’t know, it’s just harder yeah

I’ll be back real soon

You should just tell me how you want it

Cause there’s so many things you don’t understand

And I’ve been working hard for this uh

And this is why I keep you on ah
