SoccerSixFest – The Rock n Roll Football Big Day Out

Sunday 6th September, Mile End Stadium, London.

Guitar bands, Celebrities and Music Industry come together in London’s East End for The Beautiful Game:

Someday I, Game Of Thrones, The Darkness, Natalie Indya West, Eastenders, Leopards, Reverend & The Makers, X Factor, The Enemy, Hill Valley High, TOWIE, The Glass Caves and The Bulletproof Bomb to play alongside rock and indie buzz bands like Savage Nomads, Trampolene and Mourning Birds?

You couldn’t make it up!

Add to that, a massive music industry social with teams from This Feeling, Metal Hammer, Xfm Radio, End Of The Trail Records and Nambucca music venue against members of Dexters, IC1s, Rolo Tomassi, Hadouken, Eliza and the Bear, ROAM, Fort Hope, The Jackobins, Space and Fort Hope competing for the Soccer Six Cup, and you have fantastic day out.

All you need to complete that mental image is Dappy and vsdy from The Krays movie! Oh, hang on…

This is Britain. Music and Sport are a way of LIFE. Back where Soccer Six started,  at Mile End Stadium in East Enders land, this promises to be one of their best (and most surreal) events since the Britpop days which kicked off with the likes of Blur and Oasis making both their name and that of what is now the world’s best known celebrity football tournament.

Next weekend is a proper mash up of talents having fun for a good cause; Soccer Six aims to create awareness for the charity Giving Kids A Break.

In the countdown to what is set to be a great day, new names are still coming on board, some of them just before hitting Reading and Leeds Festival this weekend.

With music at its roots, Soccer Six Rock is always a highlight of the industry calendar. In addition to the huge amount of well known names playing football, some established and breakthrough acts will perform on stage as the event concludes with sets on the Soccer Six: LIVE stage, for VIP ticket holders.

A lot of these bands have some serious release and tour action happening this year, so this is gonna be like a time out, giant back garden party kick about – with some serious competition – and a very big bar!
