Following a sold out spring and summer tour, Soulwax today announce more headline shows to extend their run of dates this December. The shows will kick off at one of London’s most iconic venues: The Roundhouse; followed by performances in Manchester, Paris Utrecht and Belgium.
The band’s universally renowned live show has a specially designed stage set and seven touring members, including original band member Stefaan Van Leuven on bass guitar and synth; three drummers – Victoria Smith (Jamie T), Iggor Cavalera (Sepultura, MIXHELL) and Blake Davies (Turbowolf); and, Laima Leyton (MIXHELL) on synth and backing vocals.
This will round off a huge campaign for Soulwax, having already blown away fans at UK and international festivals, including Meltdown, Sonar, Electric Picnic, Rock Werchter, Lost Village, Latitude, Melt, Montreux, Down The Rabbit Hole, Best Kept Secret, Benicassim, Bilbao BBK, Rock en Seine, and Alive. Alongside the tour, the Dewaele brothers release their new single ‘Is It Always Binary’, lifted from studio album FROM DEEWEE – recorded in one take at their DEEWEE studio in Ghent, Belgium earlier this year.
Tickets for Soulwax’s headline show at Manchester Academy in December are available on pre-sale from 10am Thursday 7th September.
