Spartan Records is an independent record label located in Seattle, WA founded by John T. Frazier. Prior to taking Spartan full-time in early 2013, Frazier directed marketing efforts at Tooth & Nail/Solid State Records and played an important role in the careers of bands like Underoath, Anberlin, mewithoutYou, As Cities Burn, Norma Jean, and Mae to name a few. Prior to that, he headed up marketing at Drive-Thru Records and worked with bands like The Starting Line, Finch, New Found Glory, and Something Corporate. He started his career at crank! A RECORD COMPANY working with bands like Mineral, the Gloria Record, and others.
Currently home to bands such as Mae, Sullivan, Schematic, Trespassers, Unifier, Ourlives, and more, the label’s goal is to help artists create and share their art – and through that process, they hope to help create moments that can connect us all.
