Spector are back with their new single ‘All The Sad Young Men’ out TODAY. The track is taken from their upcoming sophomore record, the follow up to their Top 20 debut ‘Enjoy It While It Lasts’.
After eighteen months cocooned in the studio, Spector have emerged as a completely new band. Where their first album was a precocious blast of stadium-inspired indie rock, their new music is something else entirely and has a depth to match. ‘All The Sad Young Men’ sets the tone and promises big things for the forthcoming new album.
“Having worked on this album for over a year, I’m so glad that people are finally getting to hear it,’ says Fred Macpherson. ‘All The Sad Young Men’ is one of the tracks that took us the longest to get right because of how much it meant to us. I’m pretty sure it’s the best song we’ve written, and its honesty plays a big part in that.”
In regards to ‘All The Said Young Men’, Zane Lowe said: ‘One of the best British indie rock’n’roll songs of the last few years’.
