Forming their own scene in Western Massachusetts, Speedy Ortiz recall the best aspects of the American underground, with hints of Dinosaur Jr. , Slint & Sonic Youth forming the foundations for Sadie Dupuis’ dark and stimulating lyrics. With their ferocious guitar album “Major Arcana” drumming up critical acclaim on both sides of the Atlantic, this tour with Joanna Gruesome is gonna be one mad trip.
