A St. David’s Day treat from

Green Man…

Warpaint, Grandaddy, Kamasi Washington, Dungen

+ many more added to this year’s line-up.

Dydd Gwyl Dewi Hapus! Join us in our celebration of all things Welsh this St. David’s Day, as Green Man chirrup and chime about our newest additions. After letting you in on our first troop of terrific talent back in January, we were a bit worried the news would leek (get it?) before we could tell you about the next assemblage of acts we’ve convinced to escape with us to our wild Welsh retreat. Running from Thursday 18th – Sunday 21st August, we’re chuffed to announce the following acts for our fourteenth Green Man.

We’re thrilled, first of all, to have finally convinced Warpaint to come and light up the Mountain Stage with their brightly daubed dream pop. We can’t wait to extend a warm Welsh welcome to the legendary, epoch-defining Grandaddy as they prep new music and continue to re-affirm their mastery of wonderfully weird indie rock.

Spiritual jazz breakthrough Kamasi Washington, along with his turbo powered eight-piece band, will be rudely awakening anyone who’s had a Guzzler or two too many. You’ll probably need a lie down, though, after , King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard’s bracing blend of breezy surf rock with eyes-wide psychedelia.

Swedish collective Dungen, too, will be keeping things intense in their own eye-opening, prog rock-filtered way.Fresh-faced Gengahr, back after gracing our boat party, promise guitar fuzz and shimmering melody in equal measure. Yorkston, Thorne & Khan – with their three-way blend of jazz, acoustic guitar and Indian sarangi – are sure to bend a few minds, while Awesome Tapes From Africa Brian Shimkovitz will be playing the most grin-inducing oddities from his vast cassette collection.

Keep your eyes peeled, ‘cause we still have heaps more talent to announce along with our final headliner.
