STATE CHAMPS Release Debut Full Length, The Finer Things October 7th on Pure Noise Records

The Finer Things Co-Produced by Steve Klein (New Found Glory)

Pop punk band STATE CHAMPS has announced they will release their debut full length, The Finer Things on October 7th via Pure Noise Records. The band’s new album contains 11 tracks and was co-produced by New Found Glory’s Steve Klein and engineered by Sam Pura at The Panda Studios in Fremont, CA. A full track listing and upcoming tour dates can be seen below.

The Finer Things started in a tiny practice space in January, when State Champs sat down and began the writing process for what is to be one of this year’s greatest pop punk releases. After demoing the record at S&S Studios in Auburn, NY, the band headed to The Panda Studios in Fremont, CA to begin the official recording of the album with Steve Klein and Sam Pura. Working with the duo, State Champs feels they created something they couldn’t be more proud of.

“Working with Steve Klein and Sam Pura was amazing because they both have so much experience under their belts,” says Tyler Szalkowski. “They helped us make the best record we could possibly make.”

Albany natives State Champs, made up of Derek Discanio, Tyler Szalkowski, William Goodermote, Antonio Diaz and Evan Ambrosio have been keeping busy- including releasing their hit EP, Overslept, recording their full length, The Finer Things, and touring with such bands as New Found Glory, Cartel, Bayside and Motion City Soundtrack.
