Taken from Nobody Hates You As Much As You Hate Yourself EP, out 17th February 2014 on Art Is Hard.

Gorgeous Bully play London’s The Macbeth (w/ Popstrangers) on 17th January.

‘Couldn’t Keep It To Myself’ offers bitter-sweet, kitchen sink-mined, fuzz laden guitar pop. The track is taken from the band’s new EP Nobody Hates You As Much As You Hate Yourself, out 17th Feb on Art Is Hard. Gorgeous Bully begun as the solo project of Crang in Plymouth, where he attracted the attention of independent record label ‘Art is Hard’ (Splashh, Best Friends) which subsequently led to the release of a limited edition cigarette box cassette E.P ‘The Young Obese’.

Upping sticks in search of a change of pace and escape and after failing to find suitable musicians on the south coast to fulfil his full band need. Crang migrated North, swapping the grey skies of Plymouth for the greyer skies of Manchester where he recruited his full band.

Said Art Is Hard of the release “Expect a celebration of misery, loneliness and self-loathing, perfectly moulded into three minute grungey pop songs that celebrate the freedom of not doing what is expected of you.”
