Sudan Archives Shares ‘Selfish Soul’ Remix By ODESZA

Sudan Archives made an unscheduled appearance at ODESZA‘s surprise DJ set this past Saturday at Coachella‘s Do Lab stage to premiere a remix of Sudan’s ‘Selfish Soul’. This is the first remix to be released from Sudan Archives’ breakthrough 2022 album Natural Brown Prom Queen, and is the first remix from ODESZA (the GRAMMY-nominated duo of Harrison Mills & Clayton Knight) in eight years. It’s released today on Ninja Tune / Foreign Family Collective in partnership with Stones Throw.

Sudan Archives then went on to perform her own electrifying set on Sunday at Coachella’s Sonora stage, performing latest LP Natural Brown Prom Queen with a full live band for the first time. She will make another appearance next Sunday. The remix and Coachella appearances arrive in the wake of huge accolades for Natural Brown Prom Queen, including performances on Late Show With Stephen Colbert and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, end-of-year acclaim from the New York Times, Pitchfork, The Guardian, NPR, TIME, Crack, Vulture, DJ, The Fader, and Mixmag, and even a nod from Barack Obama on his Favorite Music of 2022 playlist.
