Two months to go until The Big Feastival 2016!
Things are hotting up at Big Feastival HQ, with only two months until we descend upon the Cotswolds. We are pulling out all of the stops this year to celebrate our fifth year on the farm and if you ever needed a reason to get booking, here are just a few…
Our foodie line-up is getting tastier by the day with street food stars Breddos Tacos joining the likes of British Street Food Award winners Original Patty Men and The Cauldron, as well as London legends Bubbledogs and Pizza Pilgrims.
On the music front, indie-favourites Reverend and the Makers, 80s legend Roland Gift of the Fine Young Cannibals and emerging star Zak Abel recently joined the Main Stage line-up alongside headline acts Mark Ronson (DJ Set), Tinie Tempah and Kaiser Chiefs.
We have a jam-packed schedule of family fun from our Rio-inspired Family Olympics, to Cbeebies Superstar Justin Fletcher, Dick and Dom, Reggie N Bollie and Adam Henson’s Cotswold Farm Park to name but a few, and there is still lots more to be revealed in the coming weeks.
We are delighted to announce the return of our Friday Night Supper Club in support of The Jamie Oliver Food Foundation. This year the al fresco dining experience will be hosted by Gordon Ramsay protégé and award-winning chef Neil Borthwick from Merchant’s Tavern, and celebrated seafood chef Mitch Tonks from Rockfish, The Seafood and The Spiny Lobster. They will be creating a specially designed three-course menu for guests to enjoy under the stars.
As the official Champagne partner of the festival, Champagne Laurent-Perrier will treat guests to a glass of their NV Brut on arrival as well as a specially matched glass of Champagne Laurent-Perrier Cuvée Rosé with dessert.

Making her Feastival debut this August is the beautifulFOXES, who will be taking to the stage on Friday ahead of headliner Mark Ronson. In the three short years since she released her debut EP Warrior, Grammy-winning, Top 5 recording artist Foxes, aka 26-year-old Louisa Rose Allen, has swiftly become one of the UK’s best pop stars, creating a catalogue of epic songs saturated with emotional honesty. We can’t wait to see her in action!
Take the bus home
Don’t forget that Pulham’s Coaches will be providing a bus service from the festival to Oxford via Chipping Norton each evening.
The bus will leave the festival site at 23:30 on Friday and Saturday and 22:30 on Sunday after the headline act finishes. Seats are available to pre-book when you book your festival tickets.
Have you heard about our ‘When Nature Calls’ upgrade pass for campers? If you would like a little more comfort while you camp then book this to access luxury flushing loos along with warm water hand washing, mirrors, baby changing units, hair washing sinks, hair-dryers and GHD straighteners so you can look and feel your best throughout the weekend.
As festival season has well and truly kicked off, we have been catching up with a few of our lovely chefs and Street Food friends. While they are busily designing their “Big Feastival Menus”, we have been capturing it on film to give you a real flavour of some of the delicious things you will be eating this August Bank Holiday. Stay tuned to get those mouths watering…
