Surfer Blood’s last London show before the band hit the festival circuit

Following news of their eagerly anticipated new album ‘Pythons’, Surfer Blood today announce that, fresh from supporting Foals around North America, the band played a packed-out headline show at Electrowerkz in London last night. The band are set to play Sebright Arms tomorrow night in London as their last London show before they hit the festival circuit.

To coincide with this, the band will also the release their song ‘Demon Dance’ which has already received a spin on Zane Lowe’s Radio 1 Show. The video for ‘Demon Dance’ was directed by Malia James (of Dum Dum Girls fame), starring the band themselves. It can be viewed on YouTube( below) & is available now on iTunes

The album, produced by Gil Norton (Foo Fighters, Pixies) at EastWest Studios, Hollywood throughout 2012, sees the band truly realising their sonic potential. Where predecessor ‘Astro Coast’ was characterized by its lo-fi charm, the new record sees the band cranked up to eleven while losing none of the personality that had fans falling in love with their sun-drenched melodies the first time round.
