Sweden the Deal is a brand new compilation of searing, energetic punk rock put together in an international joint effort by seven up and coming Swedish bands and a collective of independent labels to draw attention to the country’s burgeoning punk scene. The compilation is released December 10th 2013 via Lockjaw Records and more.
After seeing continuously growing interest and activity in the Swedish scene, Magnus Svärd, guitarist and vocalist of Broken Aris, got the idea to assemble an array of like-minded young bands and put together a record. The resulting seven band split release features fourteen fast, melodic, previously unreleased tracks to further spread the word of a Swedish punk rock community on the rise.

Featuring music from Kept and Trevolt from Malmö, Rebuke from Gothenburg, From the Tracks from Karlstad, Lapdog from Umeå, Same Old Story from Karlskoga and Broken Aris from Sundsvall, the record is a full throttle cross section of the contemporary Swedish punk scene.
Additionally, seven record labels have joined the project to help spread the word even further. Out on December 10th 2013, Sweden the Deal will be available to purchase as a jewel case CD from either the bands themselves or from one of the labels. UK fans can pre-order the album now for just £4 at the Lockjaw Records store.
