Stockholm quartet with Les Big Byrd are finally back with new music after a two year absence with their new single “Two Man Gang”, released digitally on May 19th and on 7” vinyl on June 30th via Stockholm label PNKSLM Recordings. “Two Man Gang” follows the band’s acclaimed debut LP They Worshipped Cats (A Recordings) and the EPs Liquid Sky (Höga Nord Rekords) and Stockholm Death Star (A Recordings), and the new offering is arguably the band’s most pop-leaning track to date, complete with a Swedish language vocal.
Following the release of their debut LP in 2014 the band toured the world, mixing packed out headline shows with support slots to the likes of Brian Jonestown Massacre and Goat, finishing the album cycle with the release of the two EP’s in the spring of 2015 before retreating to the studio to work on new music. “Two Man Gang” is the first piece of new music from those sessions and it’s being released on limited edition gold 7” (sold out already) and regular black vinyl via PNKSLM Recordings (the same label who released the band’s second EP Back to Bagarmossen in early 2014), backed by a live cover of Guided By Voices’ “My Valuable Hunting Knife”.
