Swimm – ‘Bedrooms’

‘Bedrooms’ premiered today on Nylon Magazine and follows the first single ‘Speak Politely’ which impressed the majority. Indeed charted as a “bold new direction from the band as they begin to unlock more mature soundscapes” by Paste magazine, ‘Bedrooms’ has a tall order to fill by the now eastern Los Angeles based outfit as we get a further flavour from new album ‘Sentimental Porno’.

their highly-anticipated debut full-length, Sentimental Porno, comes just ahead of the band’s quick trip to New York this week to play Three’s Brewery in Brooklyn on Friday night (7/21) and Mercury Lounge in Manhattan on Saturday (7/22).

Swimm have already impressed creatively with their views, tales of vapid plasticity have served as muses for the band’s music. In its creative community, Swimm’s Chris Hess and Adam Winn have found a family that has propelled them to push the artistic envelope at each turn in their the band’s rise.

Another slice of indie form, the second single, builds to fuller sound still punctured by guitar riffs on occasion challenge another smoother vocal constraint, not hard to see why ‘Bedrooms’ was plucked as a single, another good installment on route to dull length debut release. 7.8/10
