Following the recent announcement of Tall Ships‘ second album, Impressions, arriving on 10th February via FatCat Records, the band can now share their plans for a UK-wide headline tour in early 2017.
UK tour dates (tickets on sale from Friday 11th November):

Mar 1st | Hare and Hounds, Birmingham
Mar 2nd | The Bullingdon, Oxford
Mar 3rd | The Cookie, Leicester
Mar 4th | Brudenell Social Club, Leeds
Mar 6th | King Tut’s, Glasgow
Mar 7th | Deaf Institute, Manchester
Mar 8th | Omeara, London
Mar 9th | The Louisiana, Bristol
Alongside the news of next year’s jaunt, the band have today shared a brand new version of the huge recent single ‘Meditations On Loss’, recorded at Centurion Sounds in Stoke Newington. The video from the session is available to view here – http://smarturl.it/TSMOLSession
The shows will offer the first chance for audiences to hear much of Impressions in the live setting, which serves as the follow-up to the band’s acclaimed debut album, 2012’sEverything Touching a statement of intent that saw them championed by the BBC and NME, selling out shows across the UK including London’s Scala, and headlining the BBC Introducing Stage at Reading and Leeds Festival.

Impressions sees the band return with a fresh intensity: it’s a set that feels constantly on a knife edge of unpredictability, capable within a single song of being both disconcertingly tender and universal – easily the most ambitious and anthemic music the band has ever written (most notably see ‘Petrichor’, ‘Meditations On Loss’ and ‘Will to Life’), marking them out as one of the UK’s most promising rock bands.
