“Lonerism displays an innate understanding of psychedelia, not least in its balance between the beatific and the bleak. This is underpinned by genuinely great songwriting and an innate pop sensibility.” – 5 stars, The Guardian

“Superbly psychedelic second set with a very British-sounding soul.” – BBC Music

“’Parker writes melodies that are instantly memorable, that rise and fall with beautiful simplicity and give what are fairly basic and relatable sentiments heft….Lonerism is portable and joyous in an unforced way” – Pitchfork

“Sounds phase in and out, drums thunder, guitars chime with warm, valve amp bite, voices are multi-tracked into luscious harmonies, loops repeat and vocals echo distantly. Parker has created a groove-based collection that packs in pop melodies.” – 9/10, NME

“Lonerism is liberally spiked with synths, propelling this these songs even further towards the sun.”- 4 stars – MOJO

“A wobbly, avowedly-Anglo jelly of psych and drone.” – Noisey
