SET TO LAUNCH THE ELECTRIC HONEY TOUR THIS FALL
The track, which is produced by Louie Lastic, layers an ethereal synth line atop a distinct drum groove. Emotion bubbles up through Tanerélle’s dynamic vocals. She leans into the beat with an unapologetically flirty invitation. Once again, she holds nothing back with a climactic and catchy chorus ignited by her scorching signature style.
As always, she has more music and surprises in store for audiences this fall…
Next up, she brings this vision to life on stage. Tanerélle will embark on her first North American headline run, The Electric Honey Tour. It kicks off on November 11 at Cambridge Room in Dallas, TX, visits major markets coast-to-coast, and concludes in California with a show on December 6 in San Francisco at The Independent and a final gig on December 8 in Los Angeles at The Bellwether. Get tickets HERE.
Of course, she’s on the road in support of her acclaimed Electric Honey EP. Listen HERE. Thus far, it has generated north of 4 million global streams and counting.
Right out of the gate, Billboard touted the project on its “R&B/Hip-Hop Fresh Picks of the Week,” hailing it as “a strong collection of songs that builds on the atmospheric foundation of 2021’s ‘Nothing Without You’.” VIBE touted it among “New R&B For The Soft Life,” assuring, “She may be considered R&B’s outlier, but she puts the soul back in the genre.” Beyond plugs from Rated & R&B and more, The Knockturnal raved, ”Deep, sultry, sexy, groovy, dancing, and acoustics is what describes this well thought out and perfectly curated EP.” From beginning to end, the eight-song EP illuminates the expanse of her ever-evolving sound and vision.
Asserting herself as just the outlier R&B needs, she exudes substance, style, and soul all at once…
2023’s For Sport EP has already tallied millions of streams worldwide highlighted by “For Sport” and “Smear Campaign.” Through her music that she has released thus far independently, she has accumulated over 100 million streams. Additionally, she toured all over Europe as a part of Masego’s “Where We Goin?” tour.
Stay tuned for more from Tanerélle very soon.
Tanerélle crash landed with a sound and style unlike anything else in the culture, piling up tens of millions of global streams and building buzz on her own terms as a creative maverick. She thrives in a sweet spot where emotions orbit one another soundtracked by a cosmic push-and-pull of alternative soul catharsis and nocturnal R&B ecstasy. A few years back, she traded Atlanta for Los Angeles and achieved a BFA in acting. In between, she shined on projects such as the 11:11 EP, 82 Moons EP, and more. Meanwhile, she enraptured listeners with the likes of “Continuum,” “Love From NGC 7318,” “Mama Saturn,” and “Won’t,” to name a few. Plus, she landed high-profile syncs in Spike Lee’s She’s Gotta Have It on NETFLIX, Issa Rae’s Insecure on HBO, Raising Dion on NETFLIX, and NBA 2K22. Along the way, she also incited the applause of HIGHSNOBIETY, office, and Spindle Magazine who touted her among “9 Black Female R&B Artists That Need To Be Heard.”
However, Tanerélle truly takes flight in 2024.
