The Aces have become the most exciting pop band of the year with critical acclaim for debut album When My Heart Felt Volcanic and over 35 million streams. Their coming of age songs have made their way across the world from a small town in Utah where Cristal, Katie, Alisa and Mckenna grew up, playing in a band together since the age of 13. The four friends have been through a lot in that time, questioning sexuality, religious and political beliefs, and ultimately their friendships. When My Heart Felt Volcanic – a title inspired by a line from the Edgar Allen Poe poem ‘Ulalame’ – opens the book on those questions with expert scrutiny.
