THE AMERICAN SCENE ANNOUNCE SUPPORT SLOT TO THE STORY SO FAR UK TOUR APRIL 2013
‘SAFE FOR NOW’ DEBUT ALBUM OUT 22nd APRIL 2013
East Bay Californian’s THE AMERICAN SCENE have just announced they will be supporting The Story So Far in their forthcoming UK tour in April 2013. Guitarist Jeff Wright comments, “We’re really excited to be heading overseas with our best friends in TSSF. It’s kind of the secret goal for any band to play an international market, so being on this tour is extremely eye widening for us. We’re unfathomably stoked to share our music with new parts of the world. See you soon.”
Safe For Now is the debut full length from The American Scene and is due for release 22nd April 2013 on Pure Noise Records. Building on their two previous EPs, it blends a darker and more mature indie rock sound with the band’s punk rock roots becoming more obvious than ever before, allowing the record to bridge the gap between bands like Pedro The Lion and Alkaline Trio. Safe For Now will provide the gateway to indie rock for many kids caught up in the second wave of mall punk.
