The Bluebells – Anyone Could Be A Buzzcock

New single from critically acclaimed album

The Bluebells release new single Anyone Could Be A Buzzcock on 18th August with accompanying music video by Glaswegian artist Jim Lambie. The track is taken from their recent critically acclaimed album The Bluebells In The 21st Century, released by Last Night From Glasgow in April.

As artist Jim Lambie designed the album cover he was struck by the upcoming single – the infectious track reflects on the excitement of a young suburban punk heading to the Glasgow Apollo to catch a Buzzcocks gig. Lambie wanted to bring that scenario to the modern day and created a music video featuring young Scottish artists to show that the spirit of punk is still alive in the 21st century.

The Bluebells In The 21st Century album is out now and available on five shades of vinyl, CD and digitally. The album is the first from the trio in over two decades and features 12 new songs including earlier singles Gone Tomorrow, Blue Train and Ballad of the Bells. The album has received glowing reviews from press and listeners alike.
